Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 03, 2026
This policy explains what information TraceDynamics (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit tracedynamics.com and how it is used.
Information we collect
Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. This is used for security and to keep the site running.
Messages you send. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and use it only to reply.
Analytics, advertising and cookies
We use the following third-party services on tracedynamics.com. Each may set cookies or similar identifiers and receives technical data such as your IP address, device and browser details, and the pages you view:
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregated statistics about which guides are read. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services; you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymised usage analytics such as clicks, scrolling and session replays, used to find confusing pages (in the EEA, UK and Switzerland only after you consent). See the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Text you type into forms is masked.
- Google AdSense — advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Manage this at Google Ad Settings or aboutads.info.
Embedded videos load from YouTube only after you press “Play video”.
Your choices and consent
European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland. If you visit from one of these regions you will see a consent message from Google (Funding Choices, a consent management platform that follows the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework). Until you make a choice, analytics storage and ad personalisation are switched off, and Microsoft Clarity does not load. If you consent, those services run as described above; if you decline, you will see only limited, non-personalised advertising. You can change your mind at any time with the Privacy settings link at the bottom of every page.
Elsewhere. In other regions these services run by default and no consent message is shown. You can still block cookies in your browser, use the opt-out links above, or use a content blocker; the site works without them.
Your light/dark theme preference is stored only in your browser’s local storage and is never sent to us.
